Danisha Baró, Ph.D.
Prior to beginning my doctoral studies, I worked for nine years as a licensed mental health counselor in both New York and Texas, servicing clients at community mental health centers, private practice, and non-profit organizations. My doctoral training included neuropsychological evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a range of cognitive and emotional needs, including autism and ADHD. I was trained at the Center for Multicultural Training in Psychology at Boston Medical Center/Boston University School of Medicine, where I expanded my assessment experience within the Neurology Department at Boston Medical Center. There, I provided neuropsychological evaluations for individuals with memory concerns, epilepsy, and other
neurological conditions.
I am committed to offering collaborative, culturally responsive, and strengths-based evaluations that support individuals and families in better understanding cognitive and emotional functioning.
