Brooke Dumont, M.S.

I have experience working with children and adults with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, ODD, anxiety, depression, intellectual disability, and PTSD. I received my master’s degree in mental health counseling from New England College in 2022. Before completing my master’s degree, I worked with adults with substance use disorders within a methadone program. I completed my internship at a residential facility for children and teens providing clinical services that focused on helping people to increase effective communication and emotional regulation. After the internship, I continued working within the same residential facility as a clinician providing clinical services to teenagers. Alongside my work with teenagers, I provided support to families via psychoeducation and family therapy. I  completed training in trauma-focused CBT, and utilize various approaches in my therapy work, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and play therapy techniques.
